Lingyan County Foreign Residents Support Center "Uzbekistan Month" food and cultural experience activity was successfully concl

On March 16,2024, the Lingyan County Foreign Residents Support Center held the theme of "Lingyan County National Day (March Uzbekistan Month)" on March 16,2024. The activity was successfully concluded and won unanimous praise from participants.
This event aims to help foreigners better understand Korean life and also enhance cultural exchanges among foreign residents through the "National Day" series of themed activities held monthly in Lingyan County. As a special event for Uzbekistan Month in March, the center set up an exhibition board showcasing Uzbek culture inside the venue for participants to visit and learn from. They were also organized to visit a local Uzbek restaurant to experience the unique charm of Uzbek cuisine firsthand. Through this activity, residents of different nationalities gathered together, deepening their understanding of each other in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and further enhancing their appreciation of foreign cultures through cultural experiences.
This activity through SNS and face-to-face publicity for the advance notice and recruitment, to take the way of limited registration, the scene atmosphere is warm, high participation enthusiasm.
The center said that in the future, it will continue to plan more rich and diversified activities in the future to help foreigners in Lingyan County better adapt to life in South Korea and achieve the goal of faster integration and stable settlement.
A foreign resident attending the event said, " Through this event, I not only tasted the authentic Uzbek food, but also learned a lot about Uzbekistan culture. I hope there will be more similar cultural exchange activities in the future to learn more about the customs and cultures of countries.”
Zheng Doupei, director of Lingyan County Foreign Residents Support Center, said, " I hope this event will provide a good opportunity for foreigners to adapt to life in South Korea and take root in Lingyan County.
