Children and Youth Digital Right-to-Be-Forgotten Support Service (Eraser Service) Guide and Promotion

In connection with the above, the Personal Information Protection Commission has been piloting the "Eraser Service" since April 24th to support the digital right-to-be-forgotten for children and youth. Below are the key details:

A. Key Details: Supports the deletion or exclusion from search results of personal information included in posts, photos, and videos posted online during childhood.

B. Eligibility: Anyone under 24 years old, posts created by those under 18 years old.

In light of this, we request each institution to promote awareness and usage of this service for children and youth under 24 nationwide through methods such as banner placement and poster display when deemed necessary.
