Sehan University's K-Digital Platform Hosts Seminar on 'Digital Utilization for Industrial Welfare Twin Transformation

Sehan University (President Lee Seung-hoon) and the K-Digital Platform, in collaboration with the Korean Welfare Management Association, hosted the 3rd seminar on 'Digital Utilization for Industrial Welfare Twin Transformation' on December 1, 2023.

This event, which targeted university students, the general public, and members of the Korean Welfare Management Association, saw the participation of over 100 attendees.

Notable attendees from Sehan University included Vice President Jung Yong-sun and Director Lee Dong-soo of the K-Digital Platform Project. From the Korean Welfare Management Association, President Woo Hye-suk, Honorary President Seo Sang-mok (former Minister of Health and Welfare), and Honorary President Hong Gi-yong graced the event.

Other distinguished participants included Jo Sang-mi, Director of the Central Social Service Agency, Jung Jin-kyung, President of the Korean Volunteer Association, and Lee Yong-gyu, President of the Korean Society for Social Welfare Administration. President Lee Yong-gyu conveyed his congratulations via a video message due to a busy schedule.

The topics of the lectures included △ Welfare Management, ESG, and Smart Welfare from Honorary President Seo Sang-mok △ Activation of Local Jobs through High-Tech by Director Lee Dong-soo of the K-Digital Platform Project △ ESG from the Perspective of Welfare Management by Sun Nam-i, Professor at Kyonggi University Graduate School of Public Administration △ Impact of Social Welfare Institution's ESG Activities on Organizational Performance by Kim Mi-rim, Director of Gaya Rehabilitation and Nursing Home △ Understanding and Practice of ESG and Sustainable Social Welfare by Kim Yong-gil, Director of Sehwa Comprehensive Social Welfare Center △ K-Digital Platform and Operation Cases of Regional Industrial Welfare by Professor Lee Hyo-taek of Sehan University's Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

The K-Digital Platform Project expressed the hope that through the lectures, participants could combine two or more topics or interests, gaining new perspectives and expanding their thinking. They also highlighted the seminar as an opportunity for communication and interaction between experts and participants, fostering the exchange of new ideas and collaboration.

President Lee Seung-hoon of Sehan University expressed gratitude to all who visited the school, stating, "Through today's seminar, I believe you can share knowledge and experiences, exchange ideas, and explore new possibilities for social value and sustainable development.
