The Department of Human Services students at Sehan University, a group of adult learners, recently conducted "2024 World Cultural Heritage Studies and Volunteer work" at Po Nagar Temple, Vietnam. Located in Nha Trang, the Temple is the oldest site of the Dharma Po Kingdom that ruled the south-central region of Vietnam for 1,300 years in the 7th century, and is known as an important world cultural heritage. However, however is that it has not been registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This is similar to the situation where Lingyan Guilin Village, the world's oldest existing traditional village with a history of more than 2,200 years, has not been registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site. In recognition of this situation, the Department of Human Services of our university has set up the "2024 World Cultural Heritage Survey Group" with professors and students as the core, and conducted field surveys and volunteer activities. Our University has signed the business agreement of "Quannan Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Talent Training" with the School
  On the afternoon of March 27th (Wednesday), the president of our University, held the signing ceremony of the agreement on shipbuilding and Marine industry in South Province in the conference room on the 4th floor of the main building of our University. Sehan University (President Lee Seung-hoon), with the Taekwondo Department (Director of Physical Education Choi Gong-jip), and Solim School located in Yeongam-gun (Principal Im Myeong-suk), participated in the 9th Hanra Cup National Disabled Taekwondo Championship and the 2nd International Disabled Taekwondo Association Invitational Tournament held in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province from December 8 to 10.Both schools participated in the competition, achieving remarkable results. Sehan University (President Lee Seung-hoon) Taekwondo Department (Director of Physical Education Choi Gong-jip) participated in the 'National Echo Taekwondo Championship,' held in Iksan City, Jeollabuk-do, on December 2. In the men's adult individual category and the speed kicking section, student Bae Sung-yong (3rd year) won a gold medal.Regarding his gold medal at this competition, student Bae Sung-yong said, "This year, in various national Taekwondo competitions in the -63kg class, I faced many challenges in the quarterfinals, and it was regrettable. Becoming a Platform for Cultural and Artistic Exchange Beyond Language Barriers. The '2023 Sehan University Korea-China Cultural Festival' held at Sehan University (President Lee Seung-hoon) on December 1, 2023, concluded successfully.Organized and hosted by Sehan University Graduate School, the event saw the participation of approximately 150 attendees, including Sehan University professors, current students, and nearby residents.The festival featured various artistic performances, including solo vocal performances, instrumental performances with instruments such as pipa and yangqin, traditional dance, and piano performances. The stages of art major students, ranging from tenor and soprano solos to instrumentals and piano performances, received enthusiastic responses.Notably, the final choir performance, collaboratively prepared by the graduate school director and international students, added a special meaning to the event.
