Korea-China Marina Operation Technology Seminar' Successfully Concludes!
Sehan University Successfully Concludes the 'Korea-China Marina Operation Technology Seminar' to Promote Global Marine Leisure Tourism in the Coastal Waters!"The 2023 'Korea-China Marina Operation Technology Seminar' concluded successfully on October 20th from 10:00 AM to 12:20 PM at the Kim Dae-jung Nobel Peace Prize Memorial Hall (Multipurpose Auditorium). This event was jointly organized by Mokpo City (Mayor Park Hong-ryul) and Sehan University (President Lee Seung-hoon) in conjunction with the 17th Mokpo Port Festival. The event, which was hosted by the SRL Leisure Specialized Business Division (Director Choi Mi-sun) and the Mokpo Maria Operation Business Division, invited three representatives from the China Olympic Committee and the WonDong Cup Organizing Committee. Over 100 participants, including domestic marine leisure tourism experts, local government representatives, and media, attended the seminar.In this seminar, China and Korea jointly discussed topics related to promoting the development of global marine leisure tourism in the coastal waters. "[Mokpo Citizen Newspaper] 'First in the Nation,' Operation of American Pilot Entry Program"Sehan University (President Yi Seung-Hoon) signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement (MOA) with the main campus of Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) on the 30th of last month regarding cooperation on employment assistance for American pilots and dual degree programs. Under this agreement, Sehan University students will be able to transfer to the main campus of Florida Tech by receiving recognition for the credits they obtained in Sehan University's Aviation Operation Department through a joint program. Korea and Indonesia Establish Cooperation in Higher Education Sector
Four universities in Korea and sixteen universities in Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish cooperation in the field of higher education. This MOU aims to promote the development of higher education by facilitating information sharing between universities and enhancing the quality of education.This collaboration is part of Indonesia's vision for the advancement of higher education services and includes four Korean universities, namely Sehan University, Kyungdong University, Joongang University, and Mokpo Science University, as well as ten universities from LLDikti Wilayah III region and six universities from LLDikti Wilayah X region in Indonesia. Among the Indonesian universities are Trisakti University and Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM), making a total of sixteen universities involved in this partnership.Both parties are making efforts to improve the quality of education through various means such as teaching, research, and community service.
