On May 21st, the general secretary of our university visited Shanxi Normal University and conducted exchanges and cooperation.
Shanxi Normal University was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jinnan Normal University, and was renamed Shanxi Normal University in 1964. There are about 20,000 undergraduate students and about 4,000 graduate students. There are 22 colleges and 57 undergraduate programs. There are 6 national characteristic majors and 14 national first-class majors. About 1,000 students and 69 teachers have been designated as a base for inheriting excellent traditional culture.
Participating in this exchange and cooperation conference were Li Shengxun, president of our university, Quan Aishu, deputy director of the university of International Exchange Institute, Xu Xuhong, president of Shanxi Normal University, Liu Mingcheng, president of the university of Music and other people.
Our university has communicated and discussed with Shanxi Normal University on undergraduate students, master's students and teachers' academic ability improvement projects, and formulated future cooperation plans.
