Sehan University Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Joint Master's Program with Tianjin Normal University, China!

Sehan University, led by President Lee Seung-hoon, attended the 20th-anniversary celebration of the joint master's program between Sehan University and Tianjin Normal University in China from November 9 to 12, 2023.

Representatives from Sehan University included Vice President Choi Mi-soon, Graduate School Dean Shim Jae-yeon, Director of the International Exchange Office Park Soo-jin, and a performance group consisting of students from the Traditional Performing Arts and Taekwondo Departments.

The event kicked off with a prelude performance on the night of Friday, November 10.

On the following day, a cultural performance was held with the participation of over 600 alumni and their families. The collaborative performance by Sehan University's Traditional Performing Arts and Taekwondo Departments received enthusiastic applause, concluding the event on November 11.

Vice President Choi Mi-soon expressed pride, saying, "The program, which started by selecting 40 students from each university, has now produced over 4,000 graduates. These graduates have become leaders in society, actively contributing to enhance the reputation of both universities. I believe that each of you will confidently follow in the footsteps of your seniors, contributing to the success and global standing of Sehan University and Tianjin Normal University. I urge all graduate students from both universities to take pride in being global talents and continue to exert relentless efforts for a successful future."

The cultural exchange performances held during this event, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the joint master's program between Sehan University and Tianjin Normal University, contributed to elevating the trust and collaborative spirit that both universities have built over the years. It also presented a meaningful opportunity to expand and strengthen future educational exchanges and collaborations.
