In the second semester of the 2024 academic year, in order to promote and share the cultural programs of the university, our university students, teaching staff and community residents participated in the book concert activities together. The event was held in Tangjin campus and Lingyan campus respectively.
This concert was sponsored by the Academic Information Institute of our university, sponsored by the Zhongnan Cultural Tourism Foundation, and writer Zheng Huiren was invited to visit our university. Tangjin campus and Lingyan campus were held at 2:00 (Monday. 23) and 9.25 (Wednesday at 2:00), respectively. More than 100 people participated, unprecedented.
Author Zheng Huiren is very active in the community literary circles such as Tangjin Essay Literature Association and Ferry Literature Association, and serves as the director of student affairs in our university. On September 1,2024 was selected on September 1,2024, with various activities such as author introduction, work reading, dialogue with the author, music performance and so on.
In particular, during the book concert, writer Zheng Huiren personally played the music included in the essay collection, which was warmly applauded by the participants and showed his excellent performance strength. In addition, in this event, the book sales revenue will be donated to the University Development Foundation to make the activity more meaningful.
The audience attending the book concert said: " Read the writer Zheng Huirens essay, as if to tell my story. I hope that more such far-reaching activities will be held in the future.”
In the future, our university will take the Academic Information Institute as the center, and actively promote a variety of experiential resonance cultural activities such as calligraphy exhibition and book club operation, so as to play a greater role for the university and the society.
