Department of Occupational Therapy

〉 Introduce
Occupational therapy is a specialty of health care that treats and educates people to lead a happy life by performing daily life as independently as possible and actively participating in social life through meaningful therapeutic activities (work) for those whose functions have deteriorated for some reason in the physical, mental, and developmental process. The Department of occupational therpy at Sehan University is a ‘Simultaneous Education Institution for Education and Practical Practice’ and conducts treatment practice for the second and third years under the guidance of a major professor in the work therapy room, sensory integration therapy room, and daily life activity treatment room operated by the work treatment team of the Health and Welfare Service Center in the school.

The prospect of finding a job therapist is very bright as the demand for occupational therapists is increasing rapidly due to the recent rapid increase in chronic adult diseases such as industrial accidents, traffic accidents, elderly people, diabetes, stroke, dementia and cancer.

Department of Speech-Language Pathology

The department of speech language pathodology is a language pathology major, and it was opened in 1999 for the second time in Korea at a four-year university. Language rehabilitation, which provides language therapy to people who have difficulty communicating, provides clinical practice through language and hearing clinical center in school as well as language pathology major theory. In addition, through a thorough homeroom teaching system, students are instructed to educate experts with sincerity and personality, from study to employment
